Your Opportunities

Seniors Serving Seniors offers you several ways to contribute to the senior’s community in the Greater Victoria Area. Our Return to Health program supports seniors in that period between a medical event and their Return to Health. There are a number of ways you can contribute. Transportation to and from appointments. Help shopping and doing errands. Social support that helps a senior return to activity and resume their community engagement.

Our Senior Link line is a phone and internet based service that compliments our Blue Book Seniors Directory. Our Senior Link Volunteers operate from from their homes using their computer and phone. Their main job is to connect seniors and senior’s families with help and advice appropriate to questions about resources and services.

In class Volunteer training and refresher sessions are normally held in the spring and fall. Our regular monthly sessions cover topics of interest to the seniors community. Occasional informal sessions allow us to exchange ideas, experience and knowledge.
